"Welcome to your new obsession"...that's what I read the first time I went to The Soular System's website, and I couldn't have described it better myself. The first time you see Rev. Desmond Diangelo lead this indescribeably talented bunch of musical ingenues in the most electrifying stage show you've ever seen, you will be hooked. They call him the Reverend of Funk and it's not hard to see why. Add this to the artistry of Mike Maloney's guitar, Jes Bradley's raging drums, and Ral's honeyed bass strokes and your well on your way to being sucked into a colorful painting of rich sound you can't believe you're hearing. But wait, the picture's not complete--we haven't even started on the melodies finessed from the keys by Danny Bedrosian and the three piece horn section of Duane Day, Sir Rothenberg, and the Damn Diz, that will send you over the edge.
